Two Individuals were sentenced on October 10, 2018, in the Fulton County Common Pleas Court according to county prosecutor Scott A. Haselman.
Christine Leffler, 40, of 8161 Co. Rd. 10, Delta, previously pleaded guilty to Grand Theft. Between August 6, 2017 and January 7, 2018, she stole unemployment benefits totaling more than $7,500 but less than $150,000.
Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Ms. Leffler to 4 years of community control and ordered her to pay prosecution costs, pay restitution of $12,351 to the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services, obtain her GED, successfully complete the Court’s Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Program and five sessions of the “On Track” Program, and serve 7 days in CCM/
Failure to comply could result In Ms. Leffler spending 11 months in prison.
Mark Murar, 50, of 209 W. Morenci St., Lyons, previously pleaded guilty to Attempted Illegal Manufacture of Drugs. On February 4, 2018, he attempted to manufacture a controlled substance.
Judge Jeffrey L. Robinson sentenced Mr. Murar to 3 years of community control and ordered him to pay prosecution costs, stay out of bars/taverns, not possess or consume alcohol, be assessed for the Drug Court Program and successfully complete, if recommended, successfully complete the Court’s Cognitive Behavioral Program, be assessed for dual diagnosis at Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio, and successfully complete any recommended treatment and any aftercare, and serve 126 days In CCNO, with credit for days already served.
Failure to comply could result in Mr. Murar spending 24 months in prison.
