Lady Indian Rollers Squeak Past Panthers

WAUSEON 1/13/2014—In NWOAL bowling action, Wauseon’s girls bowling team narrowly defeated the Panthers of Delta by a total score of 1891-1843.

The first round of normal games saw the Indians win 754-716. Rylee Ford was the leading roller for the Tribe in the opening round, scoring a 204. Courtney Fenton rolled a 166, Nicky Winland scored 144, Regan Ford contributed a 135, and Summer Brown finished the opening round with a score of 105.

The Tribe won the second round of normal games, downing the Panthers 787-666. Winland rolled a team leading 211, Rylee Ford had 190, Fenton scored 174, Brown finished with a 109, and Regan Ford rounded out the round with a 103.

The Panthers won the first round of baker games 173-101. The second round of baker games was also won by the Panthers 150-109. The Tribe snuck away with a 140-138 win in the third baker game.

The victory moves Wauseon to 5-6 in NWOAL bowling action.
