WAUSEON 1/13/2014—The Wauseon Indian’s bowling team moved to an impressive NWOAL record of 9-2, picking up a 2,301-2,192 victory over the Delta Panthers.
In the first round of normal games, the Tribe racked up a round victory of 984-856. For the Indians, Kevin Moden bowled a 213, Peyten Shadbolt rolled 206, Noah Stickley contributed a 199, Nic Kearney had 191, and Clayton Ricker finished the round with 175.
Wauseon also won the second round of normal games by an 884-819 margin. In the round, Ricker lead the way with a score of 220, Shadbolt followed with a 187, Stickley bowled a 177, Kearney a 163, and Moden finished the second round with a score of 137. Combined, the Indians outscored the Panthers 1868-1675.
Delta would outscore Wauseon in the three baker games 517-433. The first baker was won by Delta 148-114. The Panthers controlled the second of three baker games 202-125. The Tribe got things turned around in the third baker game, defeating the Panthers 194-167.
