GIRLS BASKETBALL

VARSITY

Swanton 40 Wauseon 37

Averie Lutz led Swanton with a game high 21 points, including a game winning three-pointer in the final seconds, as they picked up a 40-37 win over Wauseon. The Bulldogs (11-5, 3-1 in NWOAL) led 33-25 starting the final quarter but Wauseon used a 12-4 run to tie the game at 37 before the Lutz shot.

Aricka Lutz was 6/6 at the foul line and added 10 points. Marisa Selier and Autumn Pelok had 14 and 12 points respectively to lead the Wauseon (9-5, 2-2) offense.


Patrick Henry 46 Evergreen 44

Patrick Henry (1-14, 1-2 in NWOAL) earned their first win of season led by 19 points from Karsyn Weber in a 46-44 victory. Jordan Lumbrezer had 17 and Bekah Bowser scored 13 for Evergreen (5-9, 0-3) in the loss.

Archbold 41 Liberty Center 36


Archbold built a 20-9 lead at halftime and then held off a second half by Liberty Center to get the 41-36 win. Addie Ziegler topped the Bluestreaks (7-6, 1-1 in NWOAL) with three triples and had 11 points.

Edon 40 Stryker 39

Allison Kaylor scored six of her team-high 13 points in the fourth quarter as Edon (3-7, 2-3 in BBC) pulled out a 40-39 win. Sage Woolace had 20 points to pace Stryker (4-6, 3-3).

North Central 42 Pettisville 27


North Central 7-5, 4-4 in BBC) outrebounded Pettisville 31-24 and got 21 points from Madison Brown in their 42-27 win. Meleah Plank had seven points to lead the scoring for Pettisville (0-11, 0-6).

Wayne Trace 54 Edgerton 20

The Lady Raiders (11-4, 3-0 in GMC) remained undefeated in the GMC by racing to a 24-6 lead after one quarter and cruised to a 54-20 win over Edgerton. Brianna Wickerham scored five points for Edgerton (1-12, 0-4).

North Central 57 Stryker 48

Zack Hayes connected on four triples and finished with 20 points to lead North Central (3-7, 3-2 in BBC) to a 57-48 win over Stryker. Joey Burt was next for the Eagles with 13 and Cohen Meyers added 10. Spencer Clingaman had 17 and Kaleb Holsopple tallied 12 to pace Stryker (4-7, 3-4).
