Edgerton Village Council Introduced To New Street Maintenance Employee

Reminder: Large Trash Drop Off Day is Saturday, April 17, 2021 from 8:00AM to 2:00PM.

Communications, Petitions, and Claims of Public: Beau Aldridge, with over 12 ½ years of experience, was introduced as the new full time Street Maintenance employee. Other duties include, assisting with the water, sewer, and electric. Beau’s past work experience was with ODOT, and NW Ohio Propane.

Resolutions/Ordinances/Motion:


Resolution 2018-7: Allow for the advertisement for bids on the Laubach Drive Drainage Improvements Project and to apply for funding and execute agreement with the Ohio Public Works Commission (OPWC) in order to meet the deadline for a $160,000 grant from the OPWC.

There might be a need for the project to come before the council for additional appropriations.

The estimate for the project was at $305,000 which is $50,000 more than the cost in 2018.


Other items on the Council’s agenda include:

● Bid for the Water Tower Rehabilitation Project #1

● The update for the Joint Solid Waste Management Plan for the District of Defiance, Fulton, Paulding and Williams Counties – Resolution 2021-004


● Ordinance No. 1077 providing for a Supplement to the 2021 Annual Appropriations.
