(September 9th, 2014)-PATRICK HENRY: In freshman volleyball action, the Lady Indians of Wauseon took on the girls of Patrick Henry. The contest was a highly entertaining, back and forth match, but it was the Patriots who ruled the day.
From game 1, both sides came out strong. The Wauseon girls fell just a bit short, though, and dropped the set 22-25. Neither side relented in the second set, but it was the Indians who came out ahead by the end of the game. They took the set 25-21. There was no let down in intensity during the third game, either. Ultimately, however, one side had to lose, and that side belonged to Wauseon, who lost the set and the match 21-25.
