(September 15th, 2014)-BRYAN: Making the short trip to Bryan, the Locomotives paid Orchard Hills a visit to compete in three-way NWOAL action against the home town Golden Bears and the Patriots of Patrick Henry. Host school Bryan pulled away from its visitors for the win with a score of 175, but the battle for second place was quite tight. Montpelier was able to edge out the Patriots by a narrow 4 stroke margin, 196-200.

Hunter Shanll recorded the second lowest score of the match with a 41, but a single stroke behind Bryan’s Bailey Martin, whose 40 earned the Golden Bear medalist honors. Fellow Locos Clay O’Neal and Sam Rings each offerd a 50 to the Montpelier cause. Andrew Luke rounded out the Locomotives scoring, adding a 55 to their total.

Aaron Tietje was the lowest scorer for Patrick Henry, shooting a 42.
