Varsity

Swanton 3 North Central 1

Katlyn Floyd went 21/22 (13 points) serving and delivered 14 kills to lift Swanton over North Central 25-20, 25-19, 16-25, 31-29. Trista Eitniear added a 27/30 hitting night with 13 kills while Sofie Taylor tallied 45 assists for Swanton (14-1).


The Eagles (12-3) were fronted by 16 kills, 16, assists, 15 digs from Kendal Bonney and Madison Brown added 11 kills, 17 assists, 10 digs.

Wauseon 3 Stryker 2

Wauseon (11-4) shook off a slow start as they rallied to win the final three sets to pull out the five-set win at Stryker 22-25, 16-25, 25-20, 25-18, 15-13. Sage Woolace paced Stryker (5-10) with 36 digs and was 21/21 serving.


Ayersville 3 Montpelier 1

Montpelier dropped to 6-7 on the season after a 18-25, 26-24, 21-25, 13-25 setback at The Railyard versus Ayersville. Leading the Locos was Ariel Page with 12 kills and Chelsea McCord registered 23 digs.

Paulding 3 Delta 0

Jocelyn Parrett recorded 11 kills and Claire Schweller racked up 16 assists to lead Paulding past Delta (2-12) 25-14, 25-10, 25-12.


Antwerp 3 Hilltop 1

The Cadets dropped the first two sets and couldn’t rally in a 20-25, 21-25, 25-21, 23-25 loss to Antwerp. Gabby Rodriguez led the effort for Hilltop (10-2) with 17 kills and Kacy Connolly dished out 23 assists.

Defiance 3 Bryan 2

Jordan Beck recorded 25 digs for Bryan as they dropped a nonconference match to Defiance 25-21, 21-25, 29-27, 24-26, 11-15. Gwen Spengler had 15 kills and 22 digs while Crystal Fillman added 32 assists for the Golden Bears.

Paige Radel scored the first of her three goals on the night with 23:00 left in the first half as Evergreen moved to 9-1-1 on the season with a 5-1 win over Whitmer. Sydney Woodring and Kaylee Hein accounted for the other Viking goals and Kayla Gleckler added two assists.

Springfield 4 Swanton 2

Swanton’s overall record fell to 3-6 after a 4-2 loss to Springfield. No stats were reported.

Bryan 3 Napoleon 0

Tabithah Taylor and Ella Miller found the net in the first half for Bryan in a 3-0 victory at Napoleon. Taylor added one more for the Golden Bears with 3:00 left in the match to provide the final margin.

BOYS SOCCER

Ottawa Hills 7 Pettisville 0

Ottawa Hills controlled possession and outshot the Blackbirds 24-3 on their way to a 7-0 victory.

Delta 12 Northwood 0

Cooper Tenney had three goals and four assists to lead Delta (10-0) in a 12-0 win over Northwood. The Panthers other scores on the night came from Luke Reinhard (2), Carson Chiesa, Vinn Maurer, Reece Verdin, Kaleb Sutton, Borna Mandic, Valentine Aybar, Gavin Cansky.
