The Gorham-Fayette Fire Chief Anthony Bernal has resigned according to Gorham Township Trustees. Bernal was hired as Chief for the Fayette Fire Department in Summer of 2019.
According to a Gorham Township Trustee, Mr. Bernal was present at the township meeting that took place on Monday, February 7th.
Trustees received a verbal notice of resignation by Mr. Bernal which was accepted. During the meeting trustees attempted to ask him for his resignation in writing which has not yet been received.
