During Thursday morning, May 5, 2022, the Williams County Commissioners welcomed three groups of Bryan High School students into their Hearing Room.

Over the spring months, the area High School Government classes have been taking tours of the Courthouse in Bryan.

The students have time to ask questions of the Commissioners and find out a little more about the offices and elected officials in the seat of government for Williams County, Ohio.

The commissioners started their day by going directly into an hour-long Executive Session “for security matters and for employment.

After coming out of that session there was no action taken and they moved into the regular session for the morning.

In regular business the commissioners approved:

-Resolution 128 Supplemental Appropriations on behalf of Commissioners, JFS, and Sheriff’s office

-Resolution 129 Reducing the Legal Load Limits for a Bridge – 03930 CR 19

-Resolution 130 Entering into an agreement on behalf of WC Treasurer

-Also Signed: Monthly expenditures for May 2022 on behalf of Prosecutor’s office; Odometer Disclosure Statement; Letter to various offices at East Annex regarding Invoices for telephones; Travel for Michael Levy to attend NENA Expo in Louisville, KY; various purchase documents for vehicles for JFS.

-Minutes for previous meeting and payment of bills

With no further business, the meeting adjourned.
