Hicksville 3 Montpelier 0

HICKSVILLE – Aubrie Baird tallied 36 assists and Molly Crall slammed home 19 kills to lead the Aces to a straight set win ahead of their league showdown with Fairview.

Aleigha Hillard topped Montpelier with 13 digs and Emma Uyttenhove added 11 digs.

NAPOLEON – Archbold improved to 18-3 overall by taking care of Napoleon 25-16, 25-10, 25-12 in nonconference volleyball.

Chaney Brodbeck fronted the Bluestreaks with 12 kills and 25 assists while Keeley Culler contributed 19 kills and 15 assists.

PETTISVILLE – Jasey Spiess and Sydney Churchill netted 13 kills each in Delta’s five-set win at Pettisville.

Alli Kind had 28 assists for Pettisville, Paris Coopshaw recorded 22 digs, and Liz Rochefort dropped 19 kills in the loss.

BRYAN – Stryker stormed back after losing the first two sets to get a five-set road win.

Emma Fulk led the Stryker attack by going 47/50 hitting with 11 kills and Sage Woolace had 41 digs while going 21/21 serving with five aces.

Bryan’s effort was paced by 22 kills from Blayze Langenderfer, Kenzie Wirth with 37 digs, and Crystal Fillman added 14 kills, 20 assists, and 26 digs.

FAYETTE – The Eagles outlasted the visitors from Monclova to earn their first win of the season.

Rebecca Stevenson had 11 kills and 22 digs, Hannah Towns-Hall registered 39 digs, and Kelsie Storrs rung up 10 aces on a 14/17 serving night for the Eagles.
