Four County Career Center Floral Design class brushed up on their skills for a good cause by designing and creating 300 corsages and 200 boutonnieres for the February 10 “Night to Shine” (NTS) event held at the Countyline Church of God in Auburn, IN.

Florence Luzny, FCCC Floral Design instructor shared that the class was “so excited” to be a part of making special items for the event.

Preparations began the first week in January to have all of them ready in time.

The FCCC floral class also created accessories for NTS in 2019 however due to COVID, 2023 is the first time the Auburn, Indiana church has been able to bring the event back.

According to the Tim Tebow Foundation-Night to Shine website: “Night to Shine is a complimentary event for people with special needs hosted by local churches around the world.”

“The event is open to anyone living with disabilities, ages 14 and older. Although each event is a little bit different, some activities included are a red carpet entrance, limousine rides, dancing, karaoke, gifts, a catered dinner, a Respite Room for parents and caregivers, a crowning ceremony where every honored guest will receive a crown or tiara, and more.”
