PIP AWARD … Power in the Purse (PIP), a women’s giving circle affiliated with the Bryan Area Foundation that meets quarterly, voted to award Operation Clean Duds a $6,275 grant at their last meeting. This local non-profit, founded in 2021 by retired veteran Jasmine Conley, provides free laundry events and supplies to those in need in Northwest Ohio. Currently serving six counties, including Williams, the organization has washed over 15,000 loads in two years. The PIP monies will be used to offer even more cleaning services and items to area residents. Pictured during the check presentation are, Operation Clean Duds founder Jasmine Conley, Bryan Area Foundation President and CEO Amy Miller, and PIP member Debbie Gearhart. Established in 2016, PIP has donated over $192,000 to 33 non-profit projects. If you want to make a difference in our community and learn more about PIP, consider coming to the next meeting on Thursday, October 26.
