Bryan High School Theater students presented Clue: On Stage this past weekend. The performance was conducted at the Arts and Ed. Building.

Showings were held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10th, and Saturday, November 11th, with a 2:00 p.m. showing being held on Sunday, November 12th.

The performance is based on the 1985 Paramount movie, which was also inspired by the Hasbro board game Clue. The production is described as a “hilarious farce-meets-murder mystery.”

The story begins at the mansion where six guests, whom most people will recognize, arrive for a mysterious dinner they were invited to by an unannounced individual.

After their host turns up dead, all of our favorite board game characters become suspects. As the body count continues to stack up, those invited to dinner must find out who the killer is.

“Clue is the comedy whodunit that will leave both cult fans and newcomers in stitches as they try to figure out…WHO did it, WHERE, and with WHAT!”

Numerous times throughout the performance, laughter overtook the audience. The acting put on by the students was phenomenal with all of the comedy bits hitting the nail on the head. Clue was definitely a hit in Bryan this past weekend.

GREETTINGS … Clue Characters meet each other at the mansion for the first time. Wadsworth the butler, played by Noah Mills, introduces Professor Plum (Brenton Wheeler), Mrs. White (Emory Ehrhart), Miss Scarlet (Emma Schlade), Colonel Mustard (Ryan Spiess), Mr. Green (Jaden Kaullen), and Mrs. Peacock (Teagan Grimes).

EAVESDROP … Miss Scarlet (Emma Schlade), Mr. Green (Jaden Kaullen), Mrs. Peacock (Teagan Grimes), and Professor Plum (Brenton Wheeler) try to listen in on the conversation taking place on the other side of the door. Colonel Mustard (Ryan Spiess) also tries to listen in, albeit less successfully.
