HEALTH DEPARTMENT … The August 14, 2024, Bryan Kiwanis Club meeting welcomed Health Education Specialists Sara Casper (left) and Katie Brown (right) representing the Williams County Health Department (WCHD). They spoke with the group about a program that was undertaken after receiving a grant from the State of Ohio’s Department of Health. This program is in its first year of a planned three year run and is entitled Adolescent Health and Resiliency Project. The overall goal of this program is to equip adults who work with adolescents to be trauma informed and to provide opportunities for safe and supportive connections to trusted adults in the community.
