EDGERTON RULES COMMITTEE: Rental Rates Established For New Edgerton Community Center

The Edgerton Rules Committee met on Tuesday January 28th at 5pm. In attendance were Chair Leslie VanAusdale, Jason Gruver, Lance Bowsher was absent. Mayor Bob Day, Village Administrator Dawn Fitzcharles and Denise Knecht were also present.

First was to discuss Miller Park and Gerhart Field Rental. Reservations will need to be made through the village office and a refundable deposit of $125 will be needed to rent.


The fields are $50 per field and if you use the outdoor lighting it would be $40 extra per day. No alcohol is permitted and the rights for concession belong to summer recreation.

Next is discussing and considering rates and rules for the Edgerton Community Center which is currently being constructed.

Ideas being thrown around were charging different rates for weekdays/holidays/weekends and peak times of the year. Meeting/Conference rooms will be available for $75.


Lastly the committee discussed adding and changing verbiage/policies on vacation time for Village Employees.

All items discussed at this meeting will be voted on at the village council meeting on Wednesday February 5th. The rules committee adjourned at 5:51pm.
