After the parade in West Unity on Saturday, December 1, the West Unity Library would like to invite the public to come out and visit with Santa. The parade will begin at the fire hall at 10:00 am. The public is invited to visit Santa at the West Unity Library following the parade (after Santa visits with his court and has his picture taken with them).

Julie Klinger from Klinger Express Photo will take pictures of the children with Santa. West Unity Chamber of Commerce will provide a craft and a treat for the children. West Unity Friends of the Library will be on hand to help with the festivities. This event is sponsored by the West Unity Chamber of Commerce and the Friends of the West Unity Library.

An additional holiday event is planned at the West Unity Branch Library on Monday, December 3, at 6:00 pm. Sixth and seventh graders are invited to come to the West Unity Library to make gingerbread houses on that day. The students will be making gingerbread houses out of graham crackers and decorating them. This will be an edible craft!

The West Unity Branch Library is located at 109 South High Street in West Unity. For more information about either of these programs, please contact Ruth Meyer at the West Unity Library at 419-924-5237.
