Four County Career Center Instructor Enhances Curriculum Through Industry Experience

June 1, 2025Updated:June 4, 2025No Comments2 Mins Read

PRESS RELEASE – Eric Eisel, Auto Collision Instructor at Four County Career Center, is spending part of his summer break immersed in real-world industry experience to ensure his students receive the most current and relevant instruction possible.

Through a 10-day summer placement at Childress Collision in Delta, Ohio, Eisel is working hands-on alongside professionals in the field to stay up to date with the latest technologies, repair techniques, and shop operations.

His goal is to bring valuable, real-time insight back to the classroom, enhancing student learning and aligning curriculum with current industry standards.

“This experience allows me to bridge the gap between education and the ever-evolving auto collision industry,” said Eisel.

“By working in a modern repair facility, I can better prepare my students with the skills and knowledge that today’s employers are looking for.”

Eisel is working closely with Jeff Entenmann, owner of Childress Collision, gaining exposure to advanced equipment, customer service processes, and the workflow of a high-performing shop.

Four County Career Center strongly encourages instructors to engage in professional development opportunities like these.

By partnering with local businesses, instructors remain connected to industry trends and expectations, ultimately benefiting students as they prepare to enter the workforce.

Serving 22 partner school districts throughout the four-county area, Four County Career Center offers 32 career and technical programs to high school juniors and seniors, with a focus on hands-on training, academic excellence, and workforce readiness.
