WEST UNITY – Hilltop rallied for the win in game one and Edgerton fended off a Cadets rally in game two to earn a split of a doubleheader on Tuesday night.

In game one, Edgerton led 3-0 before the Cadets scored four runs on five hits in the bottom of the sixth to take their first lead of night.

Edgerton put two on with two-out in the seventh before Parker Elden hit into a fielder’s choice to end it.

Anthony Jiannuzzi paced Hilltop with three singles while Mason Elden, Maddox Baker, and Brady Everetts had two hits each for the Bulldogs.

In the night cap, Edgerton jumped out to a 6-1 lead and staved off a Hilltop surge in the fifth for a 6-5 triumph in five innings.
