FUTURE VOTERS … Four County Career Center’s Government classes recently welcomed representatives from the Henry County and Fulton County Boards of Elections for an educational and impactful visit. The presentation focused on the importance of becoming a registered voter, upcoming elections, and the role young people play in shaping their communities through civic engagement. The event proved to be a milestone for the Career Center, as a record-breaking 74 students registered to vote during the session—a strong sign of student interest in civic responsibility and participation. Special thanks are extended to Susann Sheaffer, Henry County Board of Elections Director; Mary Detmer, Henry County Board of Elections Deputy Director; and April Fryman, Fulton County Board of Elections Director for dedicating their time to speak with students. Their guidance and encouragement inspired the next generation of voters to take this important step toward active citizenship.
