Bryan City Schools terminated an employee this week following the discovery of what district officials described as “highly unprofessional conduct involving a school bus.”

According to a statement issued by the district on January 16, 2026, Bryan City Schools found that bus driver and paraprofessional Elizabeth Wallace intentionally, repeatedly, and unnecessarily relieved herself on a school bus.

District officials stated that students were not present on the bus during the personally initiated incidents.

Upon learning of the situation, Bryan City Schools immediately removed Wallace from all duties and recommended her termination from employment.

The district emphasizes that it does not condone or tolerate the behavior described in the statement.

The district also clarified that Wallace’s recent resignation from her assistant swim coaching position last month was unrelated to the matter.

According to the statement, the case has been reported to law enforcement for further review. The statement was signed by Superintendent Mark Rairigh on behalf of Bryan City Schools.
