HALL OF FAMER … Stryker Local Schools recognized Coach Steve Brown’s induction into the District 7 Coaches Hall of Fame Class of 2025 on February 11 after being delayed from December. Coach Brown amassed 374 total wins in his career including a 342-168 record in 22 seasons as the Stryker Lady Panthers coach. Coach Brown’s teams earned 12 Buckeye Border Conference championships, 13 sectional titles, five district titles and two regional runner-up titles. He was named District 7 Coach of the Year six times, AP Coach of the Year in 2007, Ohio/Indiana All-Star Game Coach in 2010, North/South All-Star Game Coach in 2012, and received the prestigious Bob Arnzen Longevity Award in 2010. A 1980 graduate of Stryker High School, Steve Brown has dedicated decades to young athletes and has had a lifelong influence on all of those that he mentored.
