Writing can be lonely. I sit in front of a computer screen, think, write, then read what I wrote and edit a few more times.
I then let the article sit for a few days and then rewrite parts. Eventually, because I am responsible for three articles each week, I have to move on.
Famous authors have historically faced immense frustrations, including rejection by publishers and readers. Gone with the Wind, one of the last century’s most successful books in terms of both sales and public acceptance, was rejected by publishers 38 times.
Stephen King’s 1974 debut novel, Carrie, which achieved massive success (total sales exceeding 4 million copies), was rejected 30 times. Chicken Soup for the Soul was rejected 144 times, and Catch-22 was rejected 22 times.
With this in mind, I keep on writing.
The most successful book I wrote was Hitler and the Nazi Darwinian Worldview: How the Nazi Eugenic Crusade for a Superior Race Caused the Greatest Holocaust in World History. It is still doing well after a decade, but sales are not even close to the aforementioned works.
The more scientific a book, the less it sells, a fact that should not be surprising. My newest book, The Darwinian Genocide in Africa: Darwinian Influence in the Development of Supremacist and Segregation Policies in Africa, published by Wipf & Stock Publishers of Eugene, Oregon, is about how Christian missionaries eventually prevailed in stopping the African holocaust and succeeded in converting most of Africa to Christianity.
In the 1800s and early 1900s, tens of thousands of Europeans journeyed to Africa to steal African wealth and force the native people to become slaves. The Africans who resisted faced a level of brutality previously unknown in Europe or Africa.
The belief that Adam and Eve were the parents of all people living today, White and Black, negates the belief that Blacks are less evolved than Whites.
The rejection of Genesis opened the door that allowed the Europeans to plunder the lands and people of Africa. In contrast, Christian missionaries, who accepted the Genesis teaching about the Edenic origin of all humans and the command of loving your neighbor, after much struggle, forced the end of the African holocaust.
The result was that over half of Africa converted to Christianity. Indigenous religions are now practiced by very few people, and most of southern Africa is now Christian.
It is a sad story with a happy ending. Africa is now sending missionaries to America to reconvert us to historic Biblical Christianity. The African church was critical in the newly formed Global Methodist Church.
Many Biblical churches have joined the Global Methodist Church. Others have become independent. Many United Methodist Church leaders have rejected Bible inerrancy, resulting in the largest split since the Civil War. By the end of 2023, the number of disaffiliated churches exceeded 7,600.
The split was influenced by broad, long-standing divisions on social issues, including disagreements over Biblical interpretation and authority, and, to a lesser extent, abortion.
I have written in detail about these issues. And at times, I have to wonder if anyone reads my work. I wonder this because I own many books that I have read only parts of, and some I have never read.
I do get letters that support my writing, and all feedback is welcome. I recently became part of an online consortium of professors that helps me answer this question. The latest report is that 544 academic books and articles have referenced my publications and referred their readers to my work, often quoting my very words.
This is in addition to the other published books and articles that reference my work, which I keep track of. Over 90 percent are favorable references to my work, and the few that are critical, mostly from Darwinists who are attempting to support their theory that monkeys can become people by natural selection of mutations. I have carefully considered the concerns raised and responded to their feedback.
Thanks to the online consortium, I have data on persons who have requested copies of my articles, which articles of mine they have requested, and what country they live in.
The system also keeps track of papers downloaded. From February 26 to February 28, 2026, a total of 44 of my papers were downloaded, many relating to creationism. Downloaded locations included Odesa, Ukraine; Wuhan, China; Hanoi, Vietnam; Rimouski, Quebec; Basra, Iraq; Dhaka, Bangladesh; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Da Nang, Vietnam; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Iligan, Philippines; San Pedro, Honduras; Freiburg, Germany; Capela, Brazil; London, United Kingdom; Los Angeles, California; Tunis, Tunisia; Ecatepec, Mexico; and Varanasi, India.
Extrapolating this to the entire year would equal 832 of my papers downloaded. Such news is very invigorating! Downloading is an indication of interest in the topic. Some may read my entire paper, and many will read parts of the paper.
This gives my work an enormous exposure, far beyond what I would have received pre-Internet. Much of this exposure is due to my over 2,300 articles and books translated into 15 languages, including French, German, Italian, Spanish, Danish, Polish, Czech, Chinese, Portuguese, Arabic, Turkish, and Swedish.
My books, and books that include chapters that I have authored, are in over 2,500 college libraries in 65 countries. No New York Times bestsellers yet, but this response to my efforts makes it all worthwhile.
