ED v Hill VAR BBkb - 01.16.13 - LHF (12) webEDON – Good things may well come to those who wait, but the Edon Bombers nearly frittered away the opportunity to hang their first BBC win of the campaign on January 18. A 20-9 third period put them up by 10 over the Hilltop Cadets, but the Cadet Cadre mounted a late 16-8 rally that had the Boys in Bomber Blue holding on for dear life, escaping by a 50-48 margin in The Hangar.
Kaden Sapp and River Wicker each connected on a trio of treys and 13 points apiece for the Bombers, with Mike Peeples also connecting for a baker’s dozen. Jacob Brown put in 6 points, Brock Thiel drained a trifecta and Clay Parrish had a deuce.
Erik Stipe nailed a game-high 14 points for the Cadets, while Brandon Willis added 10. Kayne Grime and Payne Sentle knocked down 8 points apiece, Xavier Lowery had 4 points, Joey Mohr 3, and Jalen Towers added a free throw.

SCORING BY QUARTER:

Edon 17 5 20 8 – 50
Hilltop 13 10 9 16 – 48
