Students in Bobbi Miller’s Montpelier High School art class will have their latest creations be part of the “Poisoned by Picasso” interactive play April 23 at the Moose Family Center.
The event is a fundraiser for the Montpelier Library and this year organizers asked Miller to participate. Her students created works inspired by Pablo Picasso in the medium of their choice.
The event runs from 6-9 p.m.
The Montpelier Friends of the Library is having a fundraiser at the Montpelier Moose on April 23rd. It is a dinner theater called “Poison with Picasso.”
“My Senior Art students decided to participate,” Miller said. “They studied Picasso and created art pieces in the style of Picasso to be exhibited at the dinner theater. They were excited about helping the library and their projects.”
The students’ pieces will be auctioned as part of the fundraiser. There will be a total of 12 pieces, Miller said.
“This is the first time we’ve done the art work for the play,” Miller said.
