Four County Board Of Education Approves Club Budgets & New Hires

The September Meeting of the Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.

As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•August Meeting Minutes.
•Financial statements and investments for the month of August as presented.
•Club Budgets for 2016-17 as presented.
•The Permanent Appropriations for Fiscal Year 17 as presented.
•The blanket purchase orders for Fiscal Year 17 as presented.
•The renewal of the Web Based Policy Update Service with the Ohio School Boards Association for one year.
•“Then and Now” Certifications as presented.

As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•The resignation of Anita Hieber, Guidance Counselor, effective August 31, 2016.
•Additional Certified Substitutes for the 2016-17 school year as presented.
•Katelyn Flanary for a one-year contract as “Preschool Aide” effective September 6, 2016.
•Amy Maassel as a Custodial Substitute for the 2016-17 school year.
•Bryan Parks as a community service site for the Williams County CBI.
•Napoleon Parks as a community service site for the Henry County CBI.
•Fastenal as a vendor for the 2016-17 school year.
•Donations from the following: Jennifer Hutchison of two pairs of men’s dress pants to serve as uniform “back up” pants for students at FCCC. A $500 donation from Janet Jerger for the Larry Jerger Memorial Scholarship. A donation from North Star Steel of $300 towards the Baumgartner/Bandy Scholarship.
•Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from: Directors of Operations, Career Tech Education and Adult Education.

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education include the Records Commission Meeting at 6:20 p.m., as well as the Building and Grounds, and Policy Committees at 6:30 p.m., followed by the regular October Board Meeting at 7:00 p.m., on October 20, 2016 in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
