Four County Board Of Education Approves Finances & Staff Changes

The December Meeting of the Four County Career Center Board of Education was held on Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
As part of the Treasurer’s Report, the Board accepted and/or approved the following items:

•November Meeting Minutes.

•Appropriation modifications as presented.

•The revised 5-Year Financial Forecast and assumptions for Fiscal Years ending June 30, 2017 through 2021 as presented.

•“Then and Now” Certification for Northern Buckeye Education Council for NWOCA services.


As part of the Superintendent’s Report, the board accepted and/or approved the following items:
•Certified substitutes as presented.

•Classified substitutes as presented.

•Instructors for the Archbold Area Schools 21st Century Program as presented.

•Adult Ed Instructors as presented.

•Move Bradley A. Stucky, Public Safety Instructor in Adult Ed, to Column 3, due to obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree, effective December 16, 2016.

•The 2017-18 School Calendar as presented.


•Selected January 5, 2017 as the date for the January Organizational Meeting.

•Designated Dennis Vetter as the President Pro-Tem for the January 2017 Organizational Meeting.

•Approve the following donations:
-Fulton County Pork Producers gave a monetary donation to the FCCC Cafeteria.
-Newlyn Quest Club of Bryan donated 25 vests to the Public Safety Program.
-Thelma Riehle donated a 1995 Mercury Sable to the Senior Auto Tech Program.

Under Board Committee Reports, the Board received updates from:
•Director of Adult Education, Director of Operations, and Director of Vocational Education.
•Legislative Liaison.

Upcoming meetings involving members of the Four County Career Center Board of Education on January 5, 2017 include a Finance Committee Meeting at 5:30, the 2017 Organizational Meeting at 6:00 p.m., followed by the budget hearing and regular January Board Meeting, in the Multi-Purpose Room at Four County Career Center.
