Forty Four County HOSA Chapter Members Qualify For State Competition

Forty Four County Career Center Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Chapter members have qualified for state HOSA skill competition at the University of Toledo on April 19 & 20 by placing in the top five in the regional contests. Contest winners from Fulton County are (LEFT TO RIGHT) Kaylee Moore (Wauseon) Researched Persuasive Speaking & Writing; Selene Gonzalez (Archbold) Home Health Aide; Sage Marshall (Wauseon) Healthy Lifestyles; Peyton Dickman (Archbold) Sports Medicine; and Myah Wagner (Archbold) Nursing Assistant. HOSA members from all parts of Ohio will be in Toledo to compete for awards and the right to advance to national skill and leadership contests. HOSA Advisors are Donna Badenhop, Robin Hill, Karen Walker and Mike Nye. Absent from the photo is Abbagail Brunatt (Fayette) Researched Persuasive Speaking & Writing.

Contest winners from Williams County are (LEFT TO RIGHT) Hannah Sleesman (Edgerton) Extemporaneous Writing; Hannah Maxcy (Bryan) CPR/First Aid; Angel Keller (Montpelier) Forensic Medicine; Alicia Baker (Montpelier) Medical Innovations; Morgan Rowe (Edgerton) Health Career Photography; Blake Thiel (Edon) Job Seeking Skills; McKenna Trausch (Edon) Forensic Medicine; Kamryn Dick (Bryan) Behavior Knowedge Test; and Katie Foster (Hilltop) Nutrition Knowledge Test. Absent from the photo are Julian Jordan (Edon) CPR/First Aide; and Jaclyn Lovejoy (Hilltop) Career Health Display.
