Wauseon, OH – If you need flowers for your garden or have perennials to share, make plans to attend the 4-H Advisory Council Plant Sale on Saturday, May 18th. A variety of plants will be for sale from 9:00 a.m. until noon at the OSU Extension office, 8770 State Route 108, Wauseon (across from the fairgrounds).

“The Plant Sale has been a great fundraiser for the Fulton County 4-H Advisory Council for the past few years,” shared Jennifer Herr, 4-H Council President. “By purchasing items from our Plant Sale you can add to the beauty of your garden while supporting a worthy cause at the same time!”

Longer subscription plans are also available. Subscriptions cover our costs to attend local events; bringing forth Hometown News Coverage to our communities.”]

Annuals and perennials have been donated by generous gardeners from throughout the region. Also during the Plant Sale, the Horse Hogs 4-H Club will be conducting a rummage sale at the Extension Office. Proceeds from the rummage sale will benefit the 4-H Camp Palmer Pool Fund.

The annual Plant Sale is a major fundraiser for the 4-H Advisory Council. Funds raised from the Plant Sale will help with youth attending the State 4-H Teen Conference in Columbus, advisor recognition, photography contest and People’s Choice Booth Award at the Jr. Fair.

For more information about the Plant Sale, how to donate plants or the efforts of the 4-H Advisory Council, please contact Jill Stechschulte, 4-H Extension Educator at 419.337.9210 or stechschulte.23@osu.edu.
