Missing Local Child Found Safe, Father Arrested On Warrant

CHILD FOUND SAFE

Hillsdale County Sheriff Parker would like to announce that after a tireless search and investigation by Deputies from the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office, the previously reported missing juvenile Juston Eidenier, 6 years old has been located safe.

Eidenier is currently in the care of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.

Additionally, Juston C. Eidenier, 38 was taken into custody without incident on an unrelated felony warrant.

The Sheriff’s Office was in contact with officials from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the FBI to assist with the search and investigation.

Utilizing new information obtained today, deputies used cell phone technology to obtain real-time locations and both subjects were tracked by Hillsdale County Central Dispatch.

The subjects were eventually located at Little Caesars Arena in downtown Detroit at approximately 1830 hours by Agents from the FBI in coordination with information provided to them by the Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Office.

FATHER ARRESTED FOR WARRANT

The Sheriff’s office was assisted by Hillsdale County Central Dispatch, Michigan State Police, Detroit Police Department, FBI (Detroit and Kalamazoo Field Offices) and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Additionally, Sheriff Parker would like to thank the community for all of their tips and calls that ultimately helped bring this child home safely.
