Rev. Michael Ronald Goble

A Lenawee County minister, Michael Ronald Goble, was arraigned in court on Monday on two charges of Criminal Sexual Conduct, 2nd Degree.

The charges specify victims younger than age 13 and offenses that occurred in November 2021.

Goble’s arrest took place on Saturday, and the Adrian Police Department stated that more charges are likely forthcoming.

They believe there are more victims yet to be identified, and potential locations of significance include the Maurice Spears Juvenile Campus, Church of the Good Shepherd, and Goble’s home.

*Judge Kristen Marie Olsen scheduled an initial hearing for Thursday, a probable-cause conference for July 22, and a preliminary examination for July 29. Goble’s bond was set at $150,000.

The Adrian Police Department and Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office are conducting a joint investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the authorities.

The Adrian Police Department can be reached at 517-264-4819, and the Lenawee County Sheriff’s Office at 517-264-5376 for anyone wishing to report a crime or provide information.*

This situation is still developing, and the investigation is ongoing. If you or someone you know has any information related to this case, please reach out to the authorities.
