Alfred Lamar Mocherman, 72, of Houston, Texas, passed away Monday, July 20, 2020, after a brief illness. He was born Dec. 25, 1947, in Bryan, Ohio, to Everett Mocherman and Eva (Whitney) Mocherman. He graduated from Edon High School. On June 25, 1966, he married Gail Hasten in Hillsdale, Michigan.
For 30-plus years he worked at ARO Ingersoll Rand in Bryan, Ohio. He enjoyed hunting, farming and spending time with family.
He is survived by Mary House Bardwell of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Bill Mocherman of Montpelier, Ohio, and Darwin (Janie) Mocherman of Montpelier, Ohio; three children, Yvonne Woods of Bryan, Ohio, Tim (Heather) Mocherman of Montpelier, Ohio, Chris (Ashli) Mocherman of Edgerton, Ohio; 10 grandchildren, Eric (Courtney) Woods of Bryan, Ohio, Amber (Mitch) Knapp of Kunkle, Ohio, Kent (Taylor) Wagel of Archbold, Ohio, Andi Woods (Garrison Foust) of Bryan, Ohio, Ciera Mocherman (Andrew Freund) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Chelsea (Steph) Armbruster of Montpelier, Ohio, Julianne Sobczak of Bryan, Ohio, Chenoa Gaona of Edgerton, Ohio, Baylee Mead of Edgerton, Ohio, and Ali Mocherman of Edgerton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Doris Mocherman.
There will be a private service at a later date.
