All Girls Against All Boys In The Bible Quiz Finals

Eastland Baptist’s all girls team, “A Little Honey,” prevailed in the final matches over King’s Cross’s all boys team, “Royal Agents” to win the NW Ohio area Bible Quiz Triple-elimination Tournament held Sunday, March 8, at Central Mennonite Church.

“A Little Honey” was 5-1 for the day with the area’s top season individual, Grace Sheldon, quizzing out in all six of their matches.

“Royal Agents” won one out of their three matches with “A Little Honey” to finish second at 7-3. William Nofziger quizzed out in nine of his ten matches, making him the tournament’s top scoring quizzer. Central Mennonite’s “Without Doubt,” lot its first match to Pettisville Missionary’s “Dim with Age,” and then regrouped to go 5-3 for the day, winning the third place plaque.

North Clinton’s “Populars” won matches over Pettisville Missionary’s “Annihilation” and King’s Cross’s “Visions” in the third chance bracket to finish fourth at 4-3. Team members are Grace Armstrong, Violet Thomas, Levi Short, Alissa Elliot, and Ian Armstrong.

Pettisville Missionary’s “Annihilation,” 4-3, won the Joseph four-team consolation bracket and finished fifth overall. Team members are Isaac and Joshua Norr, Hyatt, Zander and Bekley Stamm.

North Clinton’s Six Stars finished sixth at 3-4. “Visions,” won their first three matches in the winner’s bracket including wins over “Annihilation” and “Royal Agents” to be one of the last two teams in the winner’s bracket, failling to “A Little Honey”.

In the final match of the winner’s bracket, finishing seventh at 3-4. “Dim with Age” also finished seventh at 3-4. Tedrow’s “Plump and Attractive” won the fourteam Esther bracket, going 3-3 for the day.
