WELCOMED HELP … Several weeks ago when Northwest Ohio experienced strong winds that caused property damage to local homes and businesses, the tornado siren in Alvordton was also affected as the pole it hangs from broke. This week a crew from Northwest Electric – who doesn’t even service the residents – came out and put in a new pole as well as remounted the siren and made sure it was up and running correctly. Alvordton residents are grateful for them going above and beyond to keep them safe.
