The Archbold FFA chapter recently organized a school-wide Christmas Cheer canned food drive to support families in Fulton County during the holiday season.
Students were encouraged to donate canned goods, with classes competing to collect the most items. In total we were able to collect 3,900 canned goods and other non-perishable items.
Once the cans were collected, the freshman from our FFA chapter traveled to the Fulton County Fairgrounds to assist with Christmas Cheer.
There, students assisted in setting up shelves and helping families carry their groceries out to their cars. They also helped organize and prepare the donations for distribution to local families.
To recognize participation in the canned food drive, FFA members prepared and hosted a breakfast for the class that collected the most items. The breakfast was served as a thank-you for their efforts and support of the drive.
The Archbold FFA chapter appreciates everyone who contributed and helped make Christmas Cheer such a success this year.
