Archbold High School’s 2025 Homecoming Court Takes Center Stage

HOMECOMING COURT … Before disbursing from the field, the 2025 homecoming court took a quick photo together with the King and Queen.

Archbold High School celebrated its 2025 homecoming on September 26, 2025, with the presentation of the court, capping off a week of activities at the school.

The Freshman Attendant was Briella Nafziger. Briella is the daughter of Steve and Laura Nafziger and the youngest sister to Julisa and Adelynn. She is involved in volleyball, choir, Company, marching band, student council, youth advisory council, AHS Impact, and FCA.

Briella’s favorite school memory is this very night, as she feels honored and excited to be chosen by her classmates. She also shared her favorite Bible verse, Philippians 4:6.

The Freshman Escort was Matthew Barnhart, son of Jeff and Jennifer Barnhart and brother to Michael, Hannah, Isaiah, Josiah, and Nicholas. Matthew is involved in band, The Company, choir, youth group, and works as a summer camp counselor.

His favorite memory has been participating in the band, The Company, and the fall play. Matthew was surprised to have been chosen by his class and is very thankful to everyone who voted for him.

The Sophomore Attendant was Maci Martz. Maci is the daughter of Megan and Jason Martz and the sister of Dawson.

She is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, FCA, student council, AHS Impact, and is a member of the Evan Church youth group. Her favorite high school memory is homecoming itself, which she finds incredibly fun.

The Sophomore Escort is Tripp Langenderfer, son of Tyson and Trisha Langenderfer and brother to Vaughn and Cy.

Tripp is active in baseball and basketball, and enjoys fishing, spending time with family, and devoting time to his faith. His favorite memory is catching for Zach Short and playing for Coach Holdgreve.

Tripp expressed his gratitude for being chosen and wished his football coaches and teammates the best of luck this season.

The Junior Attendant was Daylin Bosco. Daylin is the daughter of Brittan and Lucas Bosco and sister to Tyson, Brenden, and Gavin.

She is active in soccer, softball, student council, AHS Impact, prom committee, and her church youth group. Daylin said her favorite memories are summer soccer trips and that she is grateful to be chosen to represent her class.

The Junior Escort was Connor Plassman, son of Dan and Rachel Plassman and brother to Cole and Audree. Connor participates in cross country, track, student council, AHS Impact, FFA, prom committee, fall play, musical, and volunteers at church.

One of his favorite memories is when Mr. Baksa played Katy Perry music videos in English class. Connor said he is very honored to represent the junior class.

The Senior Attendant was Miley Gericke. Miley is the daughter of Zach and Jessica Gericke and sister to Wyatt.

She is involved in volleyball, basketball, AHS Impact, NHS, prom committee, student council, and spirit committee, as well as participating in her local church. Her favorite memory is beating Eastwood in the district finals of volleyball, where the team advanced to regionals.

The Senior Escort was Tobias Heidenreich, son of Yvonne Heidenreich and Juergen Breetzke, and brother to Lisa in Germany. His host parents are Lindy and Lucas Lantz, and he has three host sisters, Kylie, Kali, and Kenley.

Tobias coaches children’s soccer in Germany, and his favorite Archbold memory was seeing his name on the senior wall for soccer. He expressed his gratitude for the friendships made during his exchange year.

The Homecoming Prince was Danny Shrock, son of Mary and Derek Shrock and brother to Kobe, Taylor, Matty, and Violet.

Danny enjoys soccer at recess, flag football, playing “College Football 26” on his PlayStation, and Monopoly with his brothers. He is a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and is very excited to be named prince.

The Princess was Kala Zamora, daughter of Erica and Nathan Thornton and Dave Zamora. She is the youngest sister of Kyler, Kade, and Klay. Kala enjoys playing with Barbies, dressing up, practicing makeup, and loves the beach and the color pink. She said she is especially excited to share this moment with her cousin Brynn.

Archbold High School’s 2025 Homecoming King was Rudy Rodger, son of Stewart and Michelle Rodger and brother of Rocco.

Rudy is involved in football, student council, soccer, track, AHS Impact, peer-to-peer, fishing, youth group, and club soccer. His favorite memory is his freshman soccer season, when the team had several thrilling comebacks and won the league.

Rudy said being on the court has been a fun experience and thanked his classmates for voting for him.

The 2025 Homecoming Queen was Brynn Hurst, daughter of Andrew and Brittany Hurst and sister of Aubree, Gabe, Isaac, and Zeb.

Brynn is active in AHS Impact, soccer, track, and her church youth group. Her favorite memory is skiing and snowmobiling with friends last winter.

Brynn said she is truly honored to be selected queen and thanked her classmates for their support.

She also reminded the crowd to come cheer on the Archbold girls’ soccer team in their home game against Woodmore the following morning.
