The male Athlete of the Week is Archbold baseball player DJ Newman. Last week Newman went 4-5 at the plate with two doubles and an RBI to lead the Bluestreaks past Milan Edison 3-2 in the regional semifinals. Newman also went eight innings on the hill, allowing just four hits and recording 11 strikeouts.
