Audree Ann (Fiser) Schmucker, 92, of Pioneer, Ohio, died Jan. 25, 2026, at The Lakes of Monclova in Maumee, Ohio.
She was born Dec. 2, 1933, in Pioneer to Emerson and Marjorie (Mercer) Fiser. Audree attended Pioneer (now North Central) High School and married Ronald Sam Schmucker at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Fort Wayne, Ind., on Dec. 10, 1955. They settled in Pioneer and raised two sons, Mark and Tim Schmucker.
Audree was an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Pioneer for 50 years, serving several terms as auxiliary president.
She chaired the auxiliary’s annual Memorial Day Poppy Program, which included making and selling commemorative poppy plates. Audree and Ronald were also deeply involved in preparing the American Legion’s fish fry dinners.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; her parents; sister and brother-in-law Darlene and DuWayne Kiser; sister and brother-in-law Mary Ellen and DeWayne “Dofey” Walkup; and brother and sister-in-law Jim and Elaine Fiser.
Surviving are her sons, Mark (Gwen) Schmucker of Pioneer and Tim (Haley) Schmucker of Maumee; brothers-in-law Larry (Iona) Schmucker and Richard (Lois) Schmucker, both of Pioneer; grandchildren Jason, Jessica, Tanner, McKenzie and Kendall; and great-grandson River.
Visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2026, at Thompson Funeral Home in Pioneer. Burial will follow in Floral Grove Cemetery in a private ceremony.
