Barbara Ann (Knapp) Howland, 86, of Brooksville, Florida, passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, 2018, at the Brooksville Hospice Center.
Barbara was born Dec. 15, 1932, in Edon, Ohio, the daughter of Burl and Helen Knapp. Barbara was a 1950 graduate of Edon High School and a graduate of Ohio State University. She married DeWitt Howland in 1955. She served as a medical lab technician in the Toledo area before her retirement.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband and beloved son, Bret; her parents; a sister, Adeline (Green), brothers, Burl Knapp Jr. and Max Knapp. She is survived by her daughter, Julie (David); grandson, Cristopher; a granddaughter; and four great-grandchildren.
Barbara was an active member of the Cloverleaf Fellowship Church and was involved in their activities including line dancing, Red Hatters, Women’s Social and Garden Clubs, and enjoyed cribbage every Monday night.
