PLAYGROUND DONATION … Thank you to the Bard-Steel Family Foundation for their monetary gift to help construct the Lincoln Park Inclusive Playground, which will be built on the former Lincoln Elementary School site! Because of their generosity, children, and families of all physical, mental, and social abilities throughout Williams County and the surrounding region will have the opportunity to learn, play, and grow together. A ground-breaking ceremony for the playground is being planned for this fall, with the grand opening of it in the spring of 2024. Pictured during the check presentation are left to right Bard-Steel Family Foundation representatives Bill Steel, Megan Kimbell, Pam Bard Steel; the City of Bryan, Director of Parks and Recreation Ben Dominique; Bryan Parks and Recreation Board Member Paula Kline; Bryan Area Foundation President and CEO Amy Miller; and Bard-Steel Family Foundation representatives Joan and Jim Bard.
