Ball Donation photo WEBAngola, Ind.- Members of the 2014 Cameron Hospital Benefit Ball Committee recently presented Cameron Hospital Foundation with a check for $56,000 for the purchase of labor and delivery beds, fetal monitoring units and cardiac telemetry equipment.

“We cannot thank the Cameron Ball committee enough for their work on this event, and for their leadership in our community,” said Laura Lutterbeck, Cameron Foundation executive director. “We are very pleased to purchase this improved equipment for the OB department, which will further provide for the needs of parents and their precious babies.”

The proceeds were presented by the 2014 Cameron Ball chairs Jeff and Melissa Rhodes and 2015 Cameron Ball chairs A.J. and Jordan DeMond to Kevin Jones, Cameron Foundation’s director of fund development and Doug Bomba, Cameron Hospital’s chief financial officer. “Special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, Parkview Health,” said Doug Bomba, CFO. “It is because of their support that the committee presented a record gift this year.”

Since the first event in 1985, the Benefit Ball has raised over $900,000 in donations for new equipment. “Cameron Hospital continually strives to expand the services we offer which often require significant investment in medical technology,” said Lutterbeck. “We are so thankful that our community recognizes this need and continues to support us and this event each year.”

The 2015 Cameron Benefit Ball will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Potawatomi Inn, Lake James, where attendees will enjoy a night of vintage carnival fun, and back by popular demand, Ashley and the Cosmos! For more information, call 665-2141.
