Bids For Two Projects Opened In Presence Of Williams County Commissioners

Dan Clum with the Williams County Engineering Department, opened bids at the Thursday morning, January 7, 2021 WC Commissioners meeting. There were eight bids for Project #1-2021, the Bruce Drive Storm Sewer project, and two bids for Project #2-2021, the MARCS Tower.

Clum opened each one, informed the commissioners of the bid, whether they acknowledged an addendum and who is carrying the bond.

He assured the commissioners that these would be put up online within the next 24 hours. The estimate for the first project is $115,751.21 and the bids ranged from $78,300 to $113,338.


In regular business, the Commissioners approved:

•Resolution 17 Appointment of Commissioner Lew Hilkert as signatory to Farm Service Agency

•Resolution 18 Supplemental Appropriations on behalf of Commissioners; Hillside; and Transportation Improvement District


•Resolution 19 Entering into a Toledo Edison Service Agreement on behalf of WC Engineer for the Kunkle Sewer Project

•Resolution 20 Entering into a Contract Agreement on behalf of JFS with Dennis McKay

•Resolution 21 Entering into a Contract Agreement on behalf of JFS with Specialized Alternatives for Families and Youth of Ohio

•Resolution 22 Entering into a Contract Agreement on behalf of JFS with Adriel


•Resolution 23 Entering into a Contract Agreement on behalf of JFS with Unk’s Place

•Resolution 24 Entering into a Contract Agreement on behalf of JFS with New Beginnings Residential Treatment Center

•Resolution 25 Entering into a Wellness Grant Agreement on behalf of WC with CEBCO

•Resolution 26 Entering into an Addendum on behalf of Department of Aging with Perry ProTech

•Also Signed: Special Hauling Permit #20-001; Letter to Ohio Development Services Agency Re: Unincorporated Village of Kunkle CDBG Revolving Loan Fund Program Income Commitment; Area Office of Aging – PY2020 Notification of Grant Award; Letter to all County Employees; Prosecutor’s Office Monthly Expenditures for the month of January; Water Pollution Control Loan Fund; Current Agricultural Use of Valuation Renewal application; Bond Release on behalf of Judge Steven Bird

•Payment of bills as submitted
