Blackbirds Fall Short Against Columbus Grove

August 23rd-PATRICK HENRY: Their second game of the afternoon, Pettisville’s Junior Varsity girls took on a strong Columbus Grove team. Even though they competed quite well, the Lady Blackbirds were dropped in straight sets.

Game 1 saw a close battle between the two teams, with victory just out of Pettisville’s reach, 21-25. In game 2, the Blackbirds didn’t go away, but still couldn’t overcome their opponent, losing 20-25.
