Blakeslee was really something on December 16th and provided a wonderful memory for all of those who helped welcome Santa to town.

Santa was led in by a lighted parade, after which he, Mrs. Claus, and their two grand-elves came back down to the village hall to greet all of the Blakeslee children.

Not only could the kids get to see Santa, but everyone got to partake in delicious chili, hot chocolate, and more, served up by the caring officials of Blakeslee.

The parade’s success was apparent, and the turnout was amazing!  The idea was that of the village’s Mayor, Cody Reynolds, and this is the first ever Santa Parade hosted by Blakeslee.

With how successful it was, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was the first of many annual Blakeslee Santa parades.

LIGHTED PARADE … Santa came to town in style, led into Blakeslee with a lighted parade. Everyone was enjoying the festivities, and the 47° evening was quite nice for the middle of December. VIEW 92 PHOTOS OF THIS CONTEST FOR FREE AT WWW.THEVILLAGEREPORTER.COM

SANTA … Mr. and Mrs. Don and Susan Woods and granddaughters, sisters Nevaeh and LoDena, were integral in bringing all of the magic of the North Pole to the village of Blakeslee on the night of December 16, 2023.

HAPPINESS FOR THOSE OF ALL AGES … The opportunity to see Santa brought out those of all ages, and families from all over the area were coming to Blakeslee to make some of the most wonderful memories together.
