The Blue Bomber Bacon 4-H club met on April 11, 2026, at 4 p.m. in the Florence Township fire hall. Peyton Hammon led the Pledge of Allegiance. As a fun way to start, Lilly Rolhf asked us to say our favorite color for attendance.
Members received their project books. Members also received order forms for the Sechlers Pickles fundraiser. They are due May 3. The club is also selling tickets for the 4-H Chicken BBQ on July 16.
Williams County 4-H Camp is coming up soon. It is on June 1-4. Cloverbud Camp is on May 31. Both camps are open to anyone, 4-H member or not.
Three people did their demonstration speeches. Hannah Disbro talked first about different breeds of cows. Next, Molly Disbro talked about where cuts of meat on a pig come from. Last but not least, Blair Kellogg taught the members some fun facts about cows.
While all this was happening, the Cloverbuds decorated flower pots and planted grass seeds in them. The next meeting will be the fourth meeting and will be on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. at the fire hall.
