Body Found In Fulton County Now Ruled A Homicide

The Toledo Police Department has ruled the death of Brandi Gonyer-Boaston was a homicide according to the Lucas County Coroners Office.  It was determined that the cause of death was asphyxiation.  As part of the ongoing investigation, the Toledo Police Department is assisting the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.  Her body was found in a running car in Fulton County on Saturday, she was from Holland, Ohio.

Gonyer-Boaston was reported as missing to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office on Saturday. According to posts on social media, friends became concerned when they did not hear from her and she failed to pick her child up after school.

Ms. Gonyer -Boaston’s body was discovered after hunters reported a suspicious vehicle in a field. When deputies came to investigate they found a woman’s body in the running car.
