Montpelier 62, Bryan 47
MONTPELIER – Montpelier pulled away in a decisive fourth quarter as the Locos claimed a 62-47 non-league victory over archrival Bryan in “The Railyard”.
The Locos (9-1) broke open a close game over the final eight minutes outscoring the Golden Bears (3-6), 21-10, for the win.
CJ Fidler led Montpelier with 31 points, 26 of his points coming from two-point range. Kenneth Smeltzer had nine points while Hayden Sharps and Wesley Hartsock both contributed eight points each.
Tucker Miller paced Bryan with 20 points, including five three-pointers, and Tucker Watson added eight points.
