A pair of area conference player of the year recipients, Alivia Farnham of Edgerton and Addison Schang of Fayette, headline the Ohio Prep Sports Writers Association All-Ohio girls basketball team.
Farnham and Schang were both named to the Division VII All-Ohio second team. A four-year letterwinner for the Lady Bulldogs and the Green Meadows Conference Player of the Year, the 6-0 Farnham averaged 18.6 points per game this past season.
Schang (5-6, senior), who was chosen as the Buckeye Border Conference Player of the Year, averaged 15.7 points per game for the BBC tri-champions.
Earning third team honors in Division VII was Kennedy Kunkle of Fayette. The 5-10 sophomore averaged 12.6 points per game this past season.
Receiving honorable mention honors in Division VII were Grace Froelich of Stryker, Becca Strauss of Pettisville and Nevaeh Smith of Edon.
Froelich (5-8, senior), who helped lead Stryker to a regional runner-up finish and a share of the BBC title, averaged 8.6 points per game this past season.
Strauss (5-4, senior) tallied 11.8 points per game for the Lady Blackbirds. Smith (5-9, junior) tallied 9.9 points per game and helped lead the Lady Bombers to a share of the BBC championship.
In Division IV, Josey Arnold of Bryan earned special mention All-Ohio honors while her teammate Averyann Fisher earned honorable mention honors. Sophia Rupp of Wauseon also achieved honorable mention honors.
Arnold, a four-year letterwinner for the Lady Bears, averaged 12 points per game and led the Lady Bears to a district runner-up finish.
Fisher (5-7, sophomore) averaged 14.3 points per game for Bryan. Rupp (6-0, senior) tallied 10.3 points per game despite missing several games with an injury this past season.
In Division V, Anna Lohman of Delta and Miley Gericke of Archbold earned special mention honors while Keagyn Gillen of Delta achieved honorable mention honors.
Lohman (6-0, sophomore) averaged 15 points per game in leading the Lady Panthers to a regional tournament appearance. Gericke (5-10, senior) tallied 12 points per game for the Lady Streaks. Gillen (5-9, senior) averaged 8.9 points per game.
In Division VI, Lanae Manz of Evergreen earned special mention honors. The 5-9 junior averaged 13.4 points per game.
