NAPOLEON (February 10, 2026) – After winning the Northwest Ohio Athletic League crown, the Bryan Golden Bears added another piece of hardware in winning the Division II boys sectional bowling title at River City Bowl-A-Way.
The Golden Bears won the title with a score of 3,957 as they along with Napoleon (3,907), Bluffton (3,902) and Patrick Henry (3,836) claimed the team qualifying spots for the district tournament. The district tournament will be held on Thursday, February 19 at Interstate Lanes in Rossford starting at 10 a.m.
Rounding out, the team standings were Ottawa-Glandorf (3,760), Liberty Center (3,739), Miller City (3,593), Wauseon (3,528), Evergreen (3,425), Tinora (3,311), Delta (3,035), Delphos Jefferson (2,996) and Swanton (2,731).
Individual qualifiers were Wesley Wilhelm of Liberty Center, who was the top individual bowler with games of 246, 232 and 224 for a 702 series, Jakob Yocom of Wauseon with games of 224, 211 and 213 for a 648 series, and Xavier Robinette of Evergreen with games of 218, 156 and 219 for a 593 series.
Noah Geren led Bryan with games of 211, 229 and 224 (664 series), Noah Mills with games of 204, 194 and 192 (590 series), Mycah Smith with games of 218, 194 and 174 (586 series), Skyler Crooks with games of 157, 203 and 152 (512 series), and Otto Proxmire rolled a 170 game.

Besides Yocom, the Indians other scores were Camden Sherman with games of 157, 161 and 213 (531 series), Evan Stevens with 182, 135 and 176 (493 series), Isaak Hays with games of 151, 155 and 158 (464 series) while Trey Long added a 148 game.
Other scores for Evergreen were Thomas Baker with games of 187, 142 and 227 (556 series), Austin Garcia with games of 156, 168 and 131 (455 series), Elliott Prescott with games of 144, 152 and 143 (439 series), Cohen Meyers with games of 180 and 139, while Joshua Lazenby had a 152 game.
Delta was led by Marcello Miracola with games of 182, 192 and 190 (564 series), Luca Miracola with games of 156, 159 and 234 (549 series), and Cameron Fortmann with games of 135, 167 and 129 (431 series).
Also scoring for the Panthers were Jacob Fortmann with games of 98 and 150, Kaiden Boelinger with games of 105 and 116, Gary Hockenberry had a 125 game, and Layton Fisher had a 122 game.
Swanton was led by Logan Partin with games of 136, 149 and 193 (478 series), Nick Trumbull with games of 108, 147 and 129 (384 series), Devon Bumbera with games of 129, 104 and 142 (375 series), Marshon Chaff with games of 104, 117 and 150 (371 series), and Stephen Hartbarger with games of 109, 119 and 93 (321 series).
