The Brady Township Trustees met in regular session on April 13, 2026, to address routine business and road maintenance concerns. Trustees Willie Grime, Jim Eisel, and Fiscal Officer Chrystal Maneval were present.
The meeting minutes and payment of bills were approved at the beginning of the session. Road-related matters made up a significant portion of the discussion. Trustees approved R&P Aerial to grind stumps along County Road 21-30 at a cost of $490.
Additional concerns included a drainage issue south of County Road I-50, where a contractor is expected to soon evaluate a tile problem.
The Trustees are continuing their investigation into property flooding near County Road 20-50 at Liberty Street and County Road K.
Officials noted the need to further examine tile flow in the area and determine whether an existing line has been capped or damaged.
Maintenance updates were also provided, including work completed around township properties.

Grounds near the fire hall and maintenance building were rolled, along with the cemetery areas. Township staff have also been addressing multiple graves that had begun to cave in.
Within the cemetery, the need to remove another large tree was addressed. There is a plan to apply for an Ohio Department of Commerce grant in July.
Financial discussion included a change affecting fuel purchases, as federal tax is no longer being exempted at the pump for Brady Township employees.
The Trustees are exploring reimbursement options through federal filing at the end of the year. The meeting adjourned at 7:50 p.m., with the next regular meeting scheduled for April 27, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
